Figurative Language in Italian Painting from the Middle Ages to the 1600's. This course, taught in Italian, will explore the development and maturation of figure painting during the most productive period of Italian art history through an analysis of four great artists: Giotto, Antonello da Messina, Leonardo da Vinci and Caravaggio.
