QUALIFICATIONS FOR FULL MEMBERSHIP.  Any person, twenty one (21) years of age or older, and of Italian descent is entitled to apply for admission to the Club as a Regular Member.  Only Regular Members may vote or hold any office or position in the Club.  They are required to pay annual dues.  However, after forty years of continuous and uninterrupted membership a Regular member is no longer required to pay annual dues.  If both husband and wife qualify for Regular Membership, the dues for the second Regular Member will be determined in the rules of the Club as provided in these By-Laws and may be reduced for the second member.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AMICI.  Any person not qualifying for Regular Membership, twenty-one (21) years of age or older who is interested in learning more about Italian culture, heritage, history, etc. may apply as Amici of the Italian Club of St. Louis.  Amici may not vote or hold any office or position in the Club.  Amici status places one on the Amici mailing list for information about open club activities.  Amici are welcome to attend general club meetings and events.  The annual fee will be set by the Board of Directors and specified in the rules of the Club, recognizing that rights of Membership do not apply to this status.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR STUDENTI STATUS.  Students who are enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary school up to the age of 25, who are interested in learning more about Italian culture, heritage, history, etc. may apply as Studenti.  After age 25, those qualifying for Regular Membership need to apply through the regular process and those ineligible for Regular Membership may apply as Amici.   Studenti may not vote or hold any office or position in the Club.   The annual fees will be set by the Board of Directors and specified in the rules of the Club, recognizing that Studenti are engaged in study and rights of Membership do not apply to this status.
